Winter Temperatures Set to Return to South Texas This Week

A cold front will be arriving in South Texas tomorrow, December 18 that will bring cooler temperatures to the region. Alice residents can expect the temperature to begin to drop anywhere between 3 pm to 5 pm tomorrow.

According to the the National Weather Service, tomorrow’s high is set to reach 78° F, with a low of 48° F. Thursday will be much cooler, with the high set the reach 71° F, and a low of 51° F. Friday is shaping up to the the coldest day of the week, with the projected high of 68° F, and a low of 48° F.

The cold front is expected to last until Saturday, December 21, when temperatures will begin to rise. As of today, the projected high on Saturday is 70° F with a low of 50° F. By Monday of next week, temperatures will return to normal with a high of 77° F and low of 60° F.

This Winter is shaping up to be one of the warmer ones South Texas has experienced.
