The Alice Independent School District recently released an update about the highly-anticipated Memorial Stadium project shortly after the completion of the demolition process.
Demolition of the original Memorial Stadium wrapped up a few weeks ago, leaving behind a legacy that spanned over half a century.
The district says the project remains on schedule with construction set to begin in May, just a few weeks from now.
The school district is currently finalizing bid applications ahead of the scheduled construction. The new stadium is set to be completed by May of 2026, exactly one year after construction begins.
