Coyote Soccer Team Emerges Victorious After Close Match Up

As the Alice Coyote varsity soccer team approaches the end of the regular season they closed out their match against the CC King High School Mustangs with a final score of 3-2.

The first goal of the evening for the Coyotes was scored by sophomore and midfielder Kale Pruneda (# 5). Pruneda’s goal set the tone for the night and was followed up by a goal from Zach Carrizales (# 9). Carrizales is also a sophomore and midfielder for the Alice Coyotes.

The final goal of the night and the one that put the Coyotes over the top to claim victory, was scored by Oscar Hernandez (# 4). Hernandez is a junior at Alice High School and plays as a midfielder and forward.

The Alice Coyotes will play their final match of the regular season on Monday March 11. This match is also be parents night for the senior players. It will mark a symbolic end to their high school soccer careers and the beginning of a new chapter for these young men.
