The Alice High School Boys Golf Team participated in the Alice Invitational at the Municipal Golf Course this weekend and placed second overall as a team.
The boys team is led this year by Coach Adan Canales, who has been with Alice ISD and the golf team for many years.
There were 80 players from local school districts who participated in the invitational. Alice High School student Karlo Gonzalez placed second individually, with personal scores of 78 and 70. Christian Nunez, also a student at Alice High School placed third with personal scores of 75 and 75.
Members of the community can support the Alice Coyotes Boys Golf Team next weekend in Corpus Christi at the Miller Golf Invitational.
