Coyote Baseball Team Shines Bright Under Whataburger Field Lights

The Alice Coyote varsity baseball team played against the Miller Buccaneers yesterday at Whataburger Field, the home of the Corpus Christi Hooks. They closed out the evening with a solid 9-6 victory over the Bucs.

The game started off strong for the Coyotes, having scored four runs in the first inning. They soon followed that up with another strong outing, scoring four additional runs in the second inning.

The Coyotes then scored one run in the third inning for a total of nine runs, which they maintained for the duration of the game. Asevedo (# 10) scored three runs, while Lozano (# 23) scored two for the Alice Coyotes.

Castillo (#44), Gonzalez (#6), Fuentes (#21), and Manrique (#18) scored one run each for the Coyotes.

The Coyote defense held strong the entire evening and they successfully prevented the Bucs from scoring more than six runs overall.
