RANCHO ALEGRE, Texas — The Jim Wells County Sheriff’s Office announced that they have arrested a man they believe burglarized a home on Carmen Street.
Mark Anthony Gonzalez, was arrested on Monday, September 22 for allegedly breaking into the home and then returning to the scene to retrieve his cellphone. Deputies say the suspect returned to the home while they were present and filing a report, which helped identify him as a person of interest.
After further investigation, the Sheriff’s Office says they obtained an arrest warrant and apprehended the suspect. He is currently being held at the Jim Wells County jail with a bondable status.
