The Alice Coyote Varsity Soccer team faced-off against the CC Ray Texans last night, after their game from last weekend was postponed due to the weather.

The team came together to pull off an impressive 3-1 victory over the Ray Texans. Oscar Hernandez is a junior at Alice High School and scored the first goal of the night for the Coyotes.

Hernandez’ goal was followed up by a score from Ducky Godines, an Alice High School Senior. Godines is a frequent scorer for the Coyotes, so many fans won’t find it surprising that he scored for the team yet again.

The third goal of the night was scored by Randall Torres who is a junior at Alice High School. Torres’ goal was essential for giving the Coyotes a comfortable lead and denying the Texans an opportunity to tie the game and force it into overtime.
