The Alice Coyote Varsity Soccer Team had their match against CC Miller last night and in the final moments of the game the Coyotes were able to secure victory.
This thrilling match-up concluded with a score of 2-1 for the Coyotes. For much of the night, the Coyotes and Bucs were locked in a tight competition, with a score of 1-1. The first goal of the night was scored by Patricio Casillas who is a junior and midfielder for the Coyotes.
The Coyotes and Bucs went back and forth for the rest of the night trying to break the stalemate. Finally, in the last five minutes of the game, Arturo Cepeda, a junior and midfielder scored the second and final goal for the Alice Coyotes. His goal was essential for pulling ahead of the Miller Pirates and securing victory for the Coyotes.
This puts the Alice Coyotes in the 7th place spot for district as of the writing of this article. The Coyotes are currently 1-2, with much of the season still left ahead of us. The Coyotes have once again made their community and families proud, thanks to their hard work, skill, and communication.
