The Alice Coyote varsity soccer team will take on the Gregory-Portland Wildcats on Tuesday night at the Alice High School Auxiliary Fields at 6:00 pm. In addition to the game, local youth soccer players are invited to join the varsity team for special activities, making it a night to celebrate the future of Alice soccer.
The youth soccer players will get free admission to tomorrow night’s game with their Boys & Girls Club soccer shirts. The first event the youth players will be able to participate in is a walk with the varsity players before the national anthem. Parents of youth players are encouraged to arrive at the fields around 5:30 to give staff and volunteers ample time to organize the children.
The second event of the evening involving the youth soccer players will allow them to play soccer with each other on the field during halftime. This will give the children an opportunity to experience a game under the large stadium lights with a crowd.
Members of the community are encouraged to attend and support both the Alice Coyotes and their future players of tomorrow.
